He was predeceased by: his stepdaughter Cheryl Stowe; his mother Sophie; and his brother-in-law Gary Rossett (Kansas). He is survived by: his wife Luella Mikulski; his daughters, Lynn Geis (Mike) of Las Vegas and Christine DeHerrera (Vishnu) of Parkland, Florida; his grandchildren, Brandon DeHerrera and Kayla DeHerrera; his stepsons, Robert Shadowens (Kelly) and Michael Shadowens (Erika) of Grand Rapids, Michigan; his son-in-law Mark Stowe; and his siblings-in-law, Thomas Rosset (Mary), Carolyn Fields-Fallin and Mary Kay Schmitz (Tom). He is also survived by 15 step grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM and on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Anthony of Padua Church (2510 Richmond St NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49504).
