It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peggy Welch Jarrell Beck of Lakeland, Florida, who passed away on November 16, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Benton and Janice Marie Welch; her husbands, Carl Thomas Jarrell and James Lee Beck; and her half-sister Myrtle Beachum.
She is survived by: her son Wesley; her daughter-in-law Maya Beck of Lakeland; her daughter Lisa; her son-in-law Todd Clark of Lakeland; her stepchildren, Kathy Smith of Charlotte and Rick Beck (Robbie) of Missouri; her grandchildren, Landon (Victoria) of Lakeland, Taylor Beck of Lakeland, Shelley Bartlett (Jeff) of Roanoke, Virginia, Stuart Smith (Andrea) of Mint Hill, Allisha and Shawn Beck of Missouri; and her siblings, Kay Perry, Ted and Henry Welch of Wadesboro.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Lakeland Country Club (929 Lake Hollingsworth Dr, Lakeland, FL 33803).
