We are sad to announce that on May 26, 2024, Myrtle Allen of Lakeland, Florida, born in Jacksonville, Florida passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the vast expanse of eternity, Myrtle shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Myrtle farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Russell Higginbotham and Julia Higginbotham; her grandmother Vrola; and her sons, Dickie and Wesley Allen.

She is survived by : her children, Marsha Durrance (Joe), Jackie Bartle and Randy Allen (Kathy). She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
