With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lillian Jean Chambless (Lakeland, Florida), born in Jacksonville, Florida, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 21, 2024 at the age of 92. She was predeceased by: her husband Jimmie Walker Chambless; her parents, George Sweet and Ola Sweet; her sister Doris LeGrant (John); and her great grandchild McKenna Gates.
She is survived by: her daughters, Pam, Cindy Corbin and Linda Chambless (Randy); her grandchildren, Stephanie Collman (Matt), Melissa Cramton (Dave), Michael Corbin and Katie Miller; and her great grandchildren, Adrianna Collman, Alexandra Collman, Keagan Collman, Morgan Gates and Lane Cramton.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to either; the Down Syndrome Association of West Michigan, 160 60th Street, Grand Rapids, MI 49548 in memory of McKenna.
