We are sad to announce that on October 28, 2024, Lauretta F. Newman (Lakeland, Florida), born in New Haven, Connecticut passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Lauretta shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Lauretta farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her husband Bernard W. Newman; and her sister Dorothy. She is survived by: her nieces, Beth Mishler Mooney, Frances Pearson and Gail Mishler Murray; and her cousins, Kevin Denton, Kevin Connelly and Frank Flood.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Gentry Morrison Funeral Home (3350 Mall Hill Dr, Lakeland, FL 33810). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Anthony's Catholic Church (820 Marcum Rd, Lakeland, FL 33809).
