With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Cameron Jr. of Lakeland, Florida, born in Sanford, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 2, 2024 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to James' earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration James has bequeathed us. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Catherine Adcock, Charles Cameron and John Hugh Cameron; his parents, James Cameron and Sarah Cameron; and his former wife Lois Ladona Cameron.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Shaw Cameron of Lakeland, Florida; his sons, Gary Cameron of Fort Pierce, Florida and Scotty Cameron of Lakeland, Florida; and his sisters, Frances Regan, Ruth Cox, Rachel Lewis of Sanford, N. C. and Barbara Hester Wilson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
