He was predeceased by: his father Guy (Edna Whitehead); his wife Shirley Whitehead; and his sister May Bonn Zickel. He is survived by: his children, Pamela Smith (Michael Smith, Jr.) of Lakeland and Kurt Whitehead of Tampa; his granddaughter Kaitlyn Smith of Gray, Tennessee; and his nieces and nephews, Sandy, Peggy and Jimmy.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home (454 Buck Moore Rd, Lake Wales, FL 33853). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
