He was predeceased by: his parents, Virginia Luella Browning and Ambrose Franklin Worley. He is survived by: his sisters, Betty Worley Ridgdill and Diane Owen Barnett; his friend Steve Womble; his wife Betty Worley; his children, Mark Worley (Tony), Cindy Musick and Dana Eichlin (James Eichlin); his grandchildren, Kari Sparks, Kaylee Sparks, Brianna Eichlin, Clay Eichlin, Michael Worley, Andrew Worley and Brendan Worley; his great grandchildren, Willow Sims, Dallys Hitchcock, Remi Sims, Judy Worley and Luna Worley; his godchildren, Darlene Hatcher Irvine, Jimmy Hatcher and Nettie Jo Hatcher; his granddaughter Rachael Guthrie; his great grandchildren, Ryder Sparks and Eddie Worley; his goddaughter Kristi Matthews; his brother Bobby Owen; and also Skeeter. He is also survived by her Nieces, Nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Lakeland Funeral Home (2125 Bartow Rd, Lakeland, FL 33801). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 1:55 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, Mr. Worley requests that donations be made to the special needs school attended by his beloved great-grandson, Ryder Sparks, who passed away on January 8, 2023.
