With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Edward Clark Dobson Jr. of Lakeland, Florida, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 17, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Clark and Miriam Ruthie Bell Dobson, Sr. (Willis); his close friend Jack Horner; and his brothers, Richard and Harold.
He is survived by: his siblings, Margaret Dobson Combee of Lakeland, Dwight Daniel Dobson (Carolyn) of Polk City, James S. Dobson (Brenda) of Lakeland and John Wesley Dobson (Rick) of San Francisco; his sisters-in-law, Irene Dobson of Lakeland and Neva Dobson of Auburndale; and his nieces and nephews, Steve, Jamie, Chris, Todd, Tim, Daryl, Scott, Stephen, Jackie, Melissa, Christina, Kristeen, Theresa and Amanda.
