He was predeceased by: his parents, Bullock Gaskins and Lola Gaskins; his stepdaughters, Ann and Joan; and his siblings, Joseph Eston Gaskins, Charles Gaskins, Wayne Gaskins and Earlene Tooke.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Gaskins; his daughters, Sandra K. Berg (late Jerry), Linda S. Golden (Rick), Peggy A. Lannon (Steve) and Donna M. Ray; and his sisters, Frandy Myers and Luvenia Vaughn. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 3 step grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and 8 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Gentry-Morrison Funeral Homes - Southside Chapel (1727 Bartow Rd, Lakeland, FL 33801). A memorial service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
