He was predeceased by: his parents, Geno Martel and Bernice Martel; his brother James "Jim" Martel; and his son Paul Edward Martel. He is survived by: his wife Sally Martel; his sons, Brian Scott Martel (Lee Ann Martel) and Michael John Martel; and his granddaughters, Shawn Martel, April Martel, Rebecca Martel, Kaleigh Hamlin (Steve Hamlin), Christie Martel, Emily Martel and Samantha Martel. He is also survived by 20 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Lakeland Funeral Home (2125 Bartow Rd, Lakeland, FL 33801). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
