David Leahy Obituary
The passing of David Leahy in Lakeland, Florida leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on March 27, 2025 at the age of 72. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Paul Leahy and Margery Leahy (Loftis). He is survived by: his wife Katherine Leahy (Poborsky); his children, Kelly and Kevin (Samantha); his grandchildren, Fletcher, Paxton, Noah, Jacob and Asher; his siblings, Mary, William (Bernice) and Robert (Colleen); his sister-in-law Nancy Lane; his close friend Shannon Black; and his friends, Steve of Smuggler's Notch, Nancy Maranville and David Dresser (family: Episcopal Church). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
The military honors will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Holy Cross Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in David's memory to Alzheimer's Research.
