It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David L Bost of Lakeland, Florida, born in Portsmouth, Virginia, who passed away on January 6, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Clyde Bost and Effie Frances Bost (Fincannon); and his sister Karen Kay Jenner Jessup. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Ellen Collins; his daughters, Tammy Shane Scruggs (Steve) and Kacy Rae Mayew (Curtis); his stepchildren, Stephanie Leigh Collins and Jonathan Robert Collins (Kristin); and his siblings, Bill Bost (Audrey), Fran Plunkett (Rick Beal), Helen Rainelle, Steve Bost (Dee), Janet Byers (Jeff) and Jeff Bost. He is also survived by several grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, and friends.
