We are sad to announce that on October 24, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Betty J. Hazen of Lakeland, Florida, born in Plant City, Florida. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
As Betty departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Betty. Though Betty may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her husband George H. Hazen; and her siblings, Junior Williams, Ralph Williams and Myrtle Welch. She is survived by: her daughters, Sheila Rewis of Lakeland and Michelle Bass (John) of Auburndale; and her grandchildren, Erik Lindgren (Sarah) and Caylien Lindgren. She is also survived by 6 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mt. Enon Primitive Baptist Church (3702 N Frontage Rd, Plant City, FL 33565). A funeral service was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Cornerstone Hospice.
