She was predeceased by: her parents, Allen Smith and Alice Kelley Smith; her brother Fred Hazell, Jr.; her niece Kimberly Marie Hazell; her great-niece Annika Irons; and her parents-in-law, Mary Joyce and Melvin Joyce.
She is survived by: her husband David Lewis Joyce; her children, Richard Joyce (Jane) and Teresa DeRose (Dwight); her grandson Joshua; her great grandchildren, Allie and Joshua; her sister-in-law Diana Hazell; her nephew Jacob Hazell; and her niece Johannah Colon.
