It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Tom William Odom of Lake Worth, Florida, who passed away on July 31, 2024, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Eugene and Rebecca Caldwell Odom; his brothers, Daniel of Georgia and Eugene Odom of Georgia; and his parents-in-law, Gerald and Patricia Hendricks (Siener) of Charleston.
He is survived by: his wife Susan Hendricks; his son Daniel Dore of Delray Beach, Florida; his stepson Kevin Hendricks of Brooklyn; his sisters, Rebecca Odom of Valdosta and Danice Odom Tyson (Rick) of Mexico Beach, Florida; and also, Andrew Hendricks of Arlington, Virginia, Michael Hendricks (Marcie Carnes) of Elkview, Marina Hendricks (John Heys) of Brookings, John Hendricks of Cincinnati, Ohio. and Catherine Dore.
The family suggests that donations in Tom's memory be made to the Loxahatchee Battlefield Preservationists in care of Chris Milu, Treasurer, 2028 SE Harrison St., Stuart, FL 34997.
