He was predeceased by: his parents, Oliver Thomas Anchors, Sr. and Ruth Walsh Anchors; his wife Mary Helen Harrison Anchors; his daughter Charlene Anchors Purvis; and his sister Mildred A. Harvey.
He is survived by: his sons, Steven T. Anchors and Kenneth L. Anchors (Paige); his grandchildren, Ansley Anchors, Blake Allen, Mary Allen, Sidney Anchors, Harrison Anchors and Breanne McGrath; and his nieces, Deborah H. Dixon and Cathy Owens Garner. He is also survived by 2 great grandchildren.
