It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Josephine Marie Ponzio of Lake Worth, Florida, who passed away on January 9, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her son John Ponzio; and her sister Judy Castorini. She is survived by: her husband Rudolph Ponzio, Sr.; her children, Rudy Ponzio, Jr. (Audrey), Joe Ponzio, Donna Ponzio (Robert Angelini) and Victoria Picariello (Joe); and her brother Robert Morris (Kathy). She is also survived by ten grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St Vincent de Paul Church (5031 Harding Hwy, Mays Landing, NJ 08330). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St Vincent de Paul Church (5021 Harding Hwy, Mays Landing, NJ 08330). A burial was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at the Holy Cross Cemetery of Mays Landing (5061 Harding Hwy, Mays Landing, NJ 08330).
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Holy Spirit Catholic Church, Lantana, FL or to the charity of doners choice.
