He was predeceased by: his stepmother Mary; his siblings, Rose and Jackie; and his parents, Max Wechter and Sarah Wechter.
He is survived by: his wife Elvira; his daughter Elaine (Richard); his grandchildren, Fredric, Christian and Nicholas; his great grandchildren, Linda (Dave) and Lily; his sister Helen (Sal); his niece Maria Barber; and also, Rikki, Alex, Sara, Nicholas, Leonora and Karl. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family is asking for donations to the Shriners Hospital, his favorite charity.
