It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carmelita Vander Sande of Lake Worth, Florida, born in Garfield, New Jersey, who passed away on April 27, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband James Vander Sande Sr. We; and her parents, Cataldo Giunta (Mike) and Frances Giunta. She is survived by: her sons, James Vander Sande Jr. (Cindi) of Pennsylvania, Kenneth Vander Sande (Deb) of Florida and Louis Vander Sande (Phyllis) of New Jersey; her grandchildren, Kristen Vander Sande (Mark Tavares), David Vander Sande (Kelly Luciw), Kara Walters (Matt), Kenny Vander Sande Jr., Mike Vander Sande (Marissa), Christina Zylstra (Jonathan) and Tyler Vander Sande (Flora Hill); her great grandchildren, Alexi, Ciara, Justine, Matthew, Jayden, Hector, Aubrey, Alexis, Jameson, Hunter, Madison and Maycee; her sister-in-law Joyce Calendrillo; her cousin Fran Conoscenti; her amazing Tassies; her pets, Cindy, Bichon Frise Misty and Hummel; and her extended family Frank Sinatra. She is also survived by cousins and nieces and nephews.
