“Allen was a big part of our family over the years. He was a dear friend of my mother-in-law, Joyce Kitey, and she introduced my children to him when they were still very young. Every time we came to visit, we would stop by to talk to Allen. My son and daughter, Harry and Sadie, loved talking to him and hearing his incredible life stories and even wrote essays in school about how much they admired him. We spoke of him often. He was just an amazing human in every aspect. Love, Meredith Kitey”
