He was predeceased by: his parents, Elias Marcadis and Rachel Marcadis; and his wife Katherine Scarborough. He is survived by: his children, Suzanne Martinez (Luis), Daniel Marcadis, MD (Bridget), Roger Marcadis and Sarah Marcadis; his grandchildren, Matthew Martinez (Bryn), Jeffrey Martinez, Valerie Reed (Ryan), Victoria Wilkins (Jasen), Nicholas Marcadis, Katherine Marcadis and Elizabeth Marcadis; his great grandchildren, Olivia, Amelia Wilkins, Hendrix Marcadis and Asher Reed; his sister Esther Smith-Vaniz (Bill); and his pet ChiChi. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
