He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Waldo Griffith and Yvonne Delores Prescott; his son Tim Nitsche; and his sister Beverly Langford (Charles). He is survived by: his wife Micki Griffith; his children, Sybil Griffith of Lake Wales, Jacob Griffith of Lake Wales, Michael C. Nitsche of Lake Wales and Justin Takacs; his sister Janice Hightower (Jimmy) of Lake Wales; and his grandchildren, Kyle, Logan, Zachary, Jonathan, Tate, Preston, Niki, Emma, Thea, Charlotte, Oliver, Lakey, Lilly and Jack.
A memorial service was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home (454 Buck Moore Rd, Lake Wales, FL 33853).
