He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Scaggs and Sarah Jane Scaggs. He is survived by: his wife Kathryn M. Scaggs; his children, Dottie Schaffner (Mark) of Tallahassee, Shannon Johnson (Brad), Bekah McElroy (Oscar) of Lake Wales, Katie Wach (Jared) of Minneola and Seth Scaggs; and his sister Betty Smith (Clif) of Sunny Hills. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
