She was predeceased by: her parents, Mildred Laverne Chavers and Raymond Jabe Whirley; her husband Jack Gibson; and her siblings, Allen, Michael, Dennis and Deana.

She is survived by: her daughter Angie Escobedo (Lee) of Ira; her grandchildren, Jack Gibson of Odessa, Emily Escobedo, Cole Gibson, Chloe Gibson and Easton Gibson; and her siblings, Jerry Madry, Sharon Herrington, Patti Floyd and MaryAnn Smith.
