He was predeceased by: his brother Randy Wingate; and his great grandchild Beau Michael Wingate. He is survived by: his wife Margie Lee Wingate; his children, Tammy Purvis (Donald) of Lake Wales, FL and Samuel Troy Wingate, Jr. (Shane) of Lake Wales, FL; his grandchildren, Ashley (Aron), Megan (Kyle), Sarah (Casey) and Josh (Destiny); and his great grandchildren, Marci, Colton, James, Harli, Mahala and Cooper.
