He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Townsley and Mable Townsley. He is survived by: his children, Sharon Clary of Lake Wales and Russell Townsley, Jr. (Rhonda) of Arroyo-Grand, California; and his nephew Robert Butsch. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
