He was predeceased by: his parents, Levi Newman and Hilda Newman. He is survived by: his wife Myrtle Newman; his sons, Glenval "Roger" Newman of Jamaica, Garett Newman of Jamaica and Terence "Oral" Newman of England; and his siblings, Salvaleta Newman of Jamaica, Iseland of England and Ralph Newman of England. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
