She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Perone and Marie Perone. She is survived by: her husband Edmund J. Barbieri, Sr. of Lake Wales; her sons, Edmund "Jay" Barbieri, Jr. (Tiffany) of Wallingford and Michael Barbieri (Karen) of Orlando; her brother Louis J. Perone, Jr. (Sharon) of Wallingford, Connecticut; and her grandchildren, Christopher, Alecia and Adriana.

“Rosie was a few years ahead of me in school. Through real estate, she and my mom, Evelyn Maltese, became very close friends for many years. My mom adored Rosie. They went on cruises together and were always sharing and preparing recipes together. I came to know Rosie better through my mom, who passed away in 2004.
