He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Richards and Lucille Richards; and his brother Wayne. He is survived by: his wife Julia Richards of Edinburgh; his children, Dana Richards of Akron, Ohio and Andy Richards of Martinsville, Indiana; and his sisters, Carole Shofner of Frostproof and Susan Shepherd of Edinburgh, Indiana. He is also survived by four grandchildren.
