She was predeceased by: her parents, George Cochran and Florence Cochran; her husband William S. "Bill" Vorous, Jr.; and her brothers, Ronald Lee Cochran and Fred Cochran.

She is survived by: her children, Shelley Vorous Clemons of Lake Wales, Sharon Bagienski (Dave) of Lake Wales, Ronnie Vorous (Teresa) of Babson Park and William S. "Billy" Vorous, III of Lake Wales. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in her honor can be sent to the Shriners Hospital in Tampa.
