She was predeceased by: her parents, William Huggins and Mary Huggins; her husband Willis B. Peterson; her daughters, Kathy Powell and Janice Holmer; and her grandson Bobby Powell.
She is survived by: her children, Donna K. Wood (Sonny) of Lake Wales, Bruce Powell of Lake Wales and Robert Powell of Lake Wales; and her siblings, Louise Pickles (Keith) of Ocala and Raymond Huggins (Donna) of Winter Haven. She is also survived by six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
