She was predeceased by: her parents, Iverson Haynes and Udessie Haynes; her husband Dr. W. Malcolm Rigel; her son Peter Dale; and her grandchildren, Joshua Rigel and Stephanie Snyder.
She is survived by: her children, Robin Tate (David) of Land, Angela Crews (John) of Ft. Meade, Dr. Bill Rigel (Linda) of Lake Wales, Rev. James Rigel (Cheryl) of Lake Wales, Rev. Paul Rigel (Colleen) of Lake Wales and Michael M. Rigel (Georgette); her grandchildren, Dr. Christa McCann, Cara Morgan, Rev. Jessica Rigel, Susan Lansberry, Geoffrey Flickema, Amanda Flickema, William Flickema, Isaac Rigel, Benjamin Rigel and Caleb Rigel; and her great grandchildren, Lauren McCann, Christopher McCann, Jeremiah Morgan, Lillian Morgan, Finn Flickema, Thea Flickema and Emma Lansberry.
