She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Yaichner and Mary Yaichner (Gearhart); her husband Wilbur E. Sheffer; her sons, Myron Eugene Metz and Melvyn Carl Metz; and her granddaughter Kaitlyn Elizabeth Sheffer.
She is survived by: her daughter Mary; her son-in-law Larry Morton of Bucyrus, Ohio; and her sons, Donald (Diane Sheffer), Mark (Brenda Sheffer), Kenneth (Jennifer Sheffer) and Gary (Cindy Sheffer). She is also survived by nine grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren.
