She was predeceased by: her parents, Woodrow Wilson and Bertha Wilson; her husband Curtis Colbert; her brothers, William Wilson and Gary Wilson; and her grandson Shawn Michael Montgomery.

She is survived by: her children, Lisa Ann Montgomery (Robert) of Lake Wales, Eric Burgess of Lake Wales and Chris Wilson of Trumann, Arkansas; and her sister Phyllis Pratt of Lunchford, Arkansas. She is also survived by four grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
