He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Malcolm McMillan Sr. and Vella Florence McMillan; and his brother John McMillan. He is survived by: his daughter Brandy Gartrell; his grandson Wyatt Gartrell; his siblings, George McMillan (Reyna), Neil McMillan (Sherry) and Sally McMillan (Jan); and his sister-in-law Candy McMillan (Carol McMillan).
