She was predeceased by: her parents, William Sassaman and Evea Kathryn Hoffmeyer; and her daughter Elizabeth. She is survived by: her husband James E. Shively; her daughters, Christine Bastone of Lake Wales and Pamela McGrew (Paul) of Clinton, Ohio; and her sister Nancy Barkley (Larry) of Ravenna, Ohio. She is also survived by four grandchildren.
