She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Claxton and Atchie Claxton. She is survived by: her husband Troy Garrard; her children, Kathy Tarbes (Robert), Troy Garrard, Jr. (Sandra) of Winter Haven and Eric Garrard of Winter Haven; and her sister Betty Wilson of Summerfield. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
