He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Erwin and Edna Parker (Thompson); his wife Linda Poling; his sisters, Ione May and Nina Bryant; and his son-in-law Dorsey Crume.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Parker (Tia) and Amy Crume; his sister Ellen Joyce Farr; his grandchildren, David Parker, Steve Parker (Angie), Sara Koors (Caleb) and Grace Crume; his great grandchildren, Ella, Charlotte and Kieran; and his pet Farrah.
