He was predeceased by: his father Garland Reed; and his son James Alton Reed. He is survived by: his wife Rita Reed; and his children, Sharon Cook (Freddy) of Palmetto, Stephen Reed (Beth) of Lake Wales and Kenneth Reed (Tina) of Bartow. He is also survived by three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
