She was predeceased by: her parents, John Kardell and Agnes Kardell. She is survived by: her husband James Ray Buchs; and her daughters, Wendy Brandt (Joe) of Strongsville and Stacey Egersdorfer (Geza) of Fairlawn, Ohio. She is also survived by four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
