He was predeceased by: his wife Delila Mercer; and his stepsons, Gary Foust and Roy Phillips, II. He is survived by: his children, Rebecca Lynn Mosher of Lake Wales, Deanna Dawn Spiller, James Franklin Mercer, Jr. of Frostproof and Daniel Wayne Mercer (Danielle Marie) of Lake Wales; and his stepdaughters, Rene Arlt and Selina Vanlanot. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
