He was predeceased by: his parents, Walton Edwards and Pearl Edwards; his siblings, Harry Edwards, Jr., Smidge Edwards, Kenneth Edwards, Buddy Edwards, Jerry Edwards, Pearl "Sis" Burrows, Carolyn Shellman and Emma "Tiny" Locke; and his grandson Blake.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra F. "Sandy" Edwards; his children, Stephanie Whitehead (Stormy) of Lakeland, David Edwards of Lake Wales, Keith Edwards (Karen) of Lake Wales and Scott Merritt (Miranda) of Lake Wales; his brother Royce Edwards of Waterloo, Alabama; his grandchildren, Lynn Marie, Kandi, Brandon, Joshua, Jarrett, Justin, Morgan and Jessie; and his great grandchildren, Oakley "Shorty", Sadie and Trevor.
