He was predeceased by: his parents, John Ackley and Helen Ackley (Daly) of Gowanda; and his son Alan. He is survived by: his wife Joanne Campbell Ackley; his son Brian Ackley (Lori) of Fort Meade; his grandsons, Evan Ackley (Kelly) of Palm Coast and Aaron Ackley (Maria) of Sanford; his great grandchild Beau Gerald Ackley of Sanford; his daughter-in-law Linda Ackley of Palm Coast; and his brothers, James, Harry and Douglas. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
