He was predeceased by: his father Frederick Jr. Powell. He is survived by: his mother Sophia Powell (Budowski); his daughters, Brandi Powell Smith of Orlando, FL and Katrina Holmes of Omaha, NE; and his siblings, David Wayne Powell of Lake Wales, FL, Eva Joan "Bodie" Winn (Jack) of Lake Wales, FL, Elizabeth "Lizzie" Powell of Lake Wales, FL and Connie Strickland (Kevin) of Winter Haven, FL. He is also survived by six grandchildren.
