He was predeceased by: his parents, Elijah Simpson and Vida Simpson; his son Nick Simpson; and his sister Judy Ball. He is survived by: his wife Joanne Simpson; his children, Amy Simpson of Lake Wales and Scott Simpson of Winter Haven; his siblings, Mary Lloyd (Earl) of Bartow, Glenda Black (Phillip) of Bartow, John Simpson of Bartow and Rudy Simpson of Wauchula; his grandchildren, Damon, Jada, Asher, Samantha, Hunter, Katlyn, Justin, Sadie, Kaden and Eli; and his great grandchildren, Leilani, Karleigh and Nick.
