Edith Louise Anderson Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edith Louise Anderson of Lake Wales, Florida, who passed away on January 6, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Violet Viola Grooms and Roy Lee Durrance; her former husbands, Roy Ray Kirkland and John L. Anderson; her siblings, Nellie Lee, Annie Wechter, Sally Figg, Bessie Reed, Faye Johnson, Nancy Mooney, Rosie Durrance, Fred Cecil Durrance and Lee Roy Durrance; and her grandchildren, Michael Guffey and Everleigh Guffey.
She is survived by: her husband Richard Stombaugh; her children, Theresa Kirkland of Lake Wales, Rachel Guffey (Bruce) of Lake Wales, Glen Kirkland (Nancy) of St. Augustine and Daniel Anderson (Savanah) of St. Augustine; her grandchildren, Hannah White (Joel), James Moss (Alexis), Amber Smith (Tyler) and Cody Kirkland; and her nieces, Molly Bell and Tonya Lee. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren, many other nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Pentecostal Fellowship Center. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
