He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester S. Burris and Catherine M. Burris (Critser); and his sister Karon Taylor. He is survived by: his wife Eleanor K. Burris; and his daughters, Janet Burris of Lake Wales, FL, Jean Ann Rhea (Russel) of Knoxville, TN and Lora Caperton (Frank) of Murfreesboro, TN. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
