It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Charles Herbert Fugate Sr. (Lake Wales, Florida), born in Weaubleau, Missouri, who passed away on March 26, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, David Fugate and Mamie Fugate; his wife Louise Fugate; and his siblings, Ethel Johnson, Sadie Davis, Johndrow Fugate, Joseph Fugate and David Fugate.

He is survived by: his sons, Charles H. Fugate, Jr. (Linda) of Ozark, MO and Richard Fugate (Jennifer) of Lake Wales; his sisters, Margaret Braden of Weaubleau, MO and Kathryn Fugate of Springfield, MO; and his grandchildren, Andrea, Jillian, Elizabeth, Miles, Cole, Jackie and Juliana. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the First Presbyterian Church (16 North 3rd Street, Lake Wales, Florida 33853).
