He was predeceased by: his parents, Omer Wolford and Maggie Wolford; his siblings, Leon Wolford, Roger Wolford, Jimmy Mitchell, Ruby Meeker and Linda Ann Gullett; his grandson Derek Wolford; and his stepfather Dewey Runyon.
He is survived by: his wife Birdie Wolford; his son Charles "Dewey" Wolford (Anett) of Lake Wales; his brothers, C. D. Wolford (Esteline) of Sarah Ann and Willie Wolford (Brenda) of Cleveland, Ohio; and his granddaughter Hannah Wolford Mitchell (Tyler).
